Wolves have played Tottenham 93 times in competitive game history, winning 27, drawing 20 and losing 46.  Tottenham have always been a decent team as far back as history goes, and the fixture has always been difficult for Wolves.

Wolves first played Tottenham away from home on 1st September 1908, in League Division 2.  This game, Wolves lost 3-0 to Tottenham.  The following few games didn’t bring much luck for Wolves either, with Wolves only getting 1 win against Spurs between 1908 and 1928, yet playing them 6 times mostly in Division Two, but once also in the FA Cup.

In recent history Wolves have had the same luck against Tottenham, although in the 2009/2010 season we beat them home and away in the Premier League.  Our last win against Tottenham was on 10th February 2010 when Wolves came out 1-0 winners at Molineux, thanks to a goal from David Jones.

This season, Wolves and Tottenham have currently lost the same amount of games with Tottenham ahead in 5th, because they’ve won all of their other games – no draws as of yet.  Knowing our form so far, we struggle to score goals and defend well, but Tottenham have the fire power of Harry Kane and Deli Alli amongst others so they are likely to score.

For this game, I can’t see anything but a loss for Wolves unfortunately, with Wolves going another without scoring, and a 2-o win for Tottenham.
